Herbert Smith has hired a U.S. regulatory lawyer for its Hong Kong practice.

Kyle Wombolt joined the firm as a partner on May 20 from Boston-based Goodwin Procter. He advises on a range of issues, including advising international clients in Asia on compliance with foreign legislation including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the U.K. Bribery Act, and domestic laws. He also provides counsel on contentious matters such as regulatory investigations.
