A long list of law firms, including Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton and Weil, Gotshal & Manges, are advising on the $443 million purchase and delisting of a Chinese mobile phone retailer.

Fortress Group Ltd., an investment vehicle owned by a consortium of seven Chinese companies who own a combined 77 percent of Nasdaq-listed Funtalk China Holdings Ltd., has agreed to acquire the remaining interest in the company at $2.70 per share.
