Allens Arthur Robinson and Corrs Chambers Westgarth are helping Australian students (among others) get to the beach. The firms have taken leading roles on one of Australia’s first transport public-private partnerships, on the country’s Gold Coast.

The $1.05 billion Gold Coast Rapid Transit project is also the country’s first PPP to be funded entirely by foreign parties. It reached financial close Wednesday, with a package of $385 million of debt and $68 million of equity.
