Honeywell International has agreed to acquire wireless communications manufacturer EMS Technologies for $506 million in cash, the diversified engineering and aerospace conglomerate announced on Monday.

The New York Times reports that Honeywell’s purchase of EMS, which makes systems for mobile networks and satellites, is the company’s largest acquisition since its $720 million deal for Metrologic Instruments in 2008.
