Corrs Chambers Westgarth and Clifford Chance are advising on an acquisition that will give a Macau casino operator its second resort in Asia’s gambling capital.
Melco Crown Entertainment Ltd. will pay eSun Holdings Ltd. and its subsidiary East Asia Satellite Television (Holdings) Ltd. $260 million for their 60 percent interest in the Macao Studio City project on the territory’s Cotai Strip. The resort will comprise leisure and tourism facilities from brands including Playboy, Ritz-Carlton and Marriott.
