Blank Rome has made its first lateral hire for its newly established Shanghai office. Scott Kline is joining the Philadelphia-based firm from Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, where he was a partner and chief Shanghai representative.
A partner at Pillsbury since last year, Kline represents issuers as well as placement agents and underwriters on public offerings and private placements. He also advises U.S. public companies that have international operations in China on their accounting compliance issues.
