Drinker Biddle & Reath announced Monday that it has moved its New York offices to 1177 Sixth Avenue, completing a transition out of lower Manhattan that in some ways began ten years ago when the firm’s World Trade Center offices were destroyed in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
“We listened to our clients about where we should be,” firm chairman Alfred W. Putnam, Jr., said in a statement describing the new space, which, at 15,400 square feet, is 3,000 square feet larger than the firm’s current New York home at 140 Broadway. “This move puts us in a better position to serve their needs.”
