Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe has hired a partner and an of counsel from Hogan Lovells for its corporate practice in Beijing.

The partner, Thomas Man, is returning to Orrick’s Beijing office, where he practiced for a year after leaving his role as a corporate and securities partner at Baker & McKenzie in 2007. He later left Orrick in 2008 to join U.K. firm Lovells as a partner in Beijing, a year before the firm announced its plans to merge with Washington, D.C. firm Hogan & Hartson.
