TODD HINNEN, the former acting assistant attorney general and head of the Department of Justice’s national security division, is the newest partner in Perkins Coie‘s privacy and security practice, according to sibling publication The Blog of the Legal Times. Hinnen will advise clients on criminal and national security investigations, regulatory compliance, homeland security, and intelligence agencies. At DOJ he managed the 320-attorney national security division, which oversees counterterrorism, counterespionage, and export-control programs.
