Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr has nabbed government attorney MOLLY BOAST for its antitrust and competitive practice in New York. Boast, the former deputy assistant attorney general for the U.S. Department of Justice’s antitrust division, joins Wilmer as a partner.

While working at the Justice Department from May 2009 to February 2011, Boast led 150 lawyers in the antitrust division and oversaw the investigations that preceded the mergers of NBC with Comcast and Oracle with Sun Microsystems. She also coauthored the agency’s 2010 Horizontal Merger Guidelines. Earlier in her caree, Boast worked at the Federal Trade Commission and as a partner at both Debevoise & Plimpton and the law firm then known as LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae.
