Venable has added a five-attorney group in Washington, D.C., that includes three partners to its energy practice. New partners DAVID DESALLE and DANIEL MALABONGA join from Duane Morris, along with one associate. Partner BRIAN ZIMMET comes to the firm from Hunton & Williams, also with one associate.

DeSalle’s energy practice covers complex commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, informal and formal investigations, and other transactional and regulatory matters. He has expertise in transmission planning and general interconnection issues, as well as in representing businesses in regulatory and litigation matters emerging from tapping into the Marcellus Shale to extract natural gas.
