U.K. firm Stephenson Harwood has entered into a formal association with Indonesian firm Christian Teo Purwono & Partners, a deal that will give it access to Southeast Asia’s largest economy.

The association agreement, signed last week, will bolster Stephenson Harwood’s practice in the region, which it runs from a Singapore office established in 1996. The firm also has offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. Christian Teo Purwono & Partners has around 17 lawyers, and is particularly active in real estate, dispute resolution, and natural resources.
