White-collar prosecutor JONATHAN STREETER, who helped convict onetime billionaire Raj Rajaratnam in the Galleon Group hedge fund insider trading case and also brought charges against disgraced attorney Marc Dreier for a $700 million fraud against hedge funds in 2009, is set to join Dechert as a partner.
A Dechert spokeswoman confirmed the news, reported by The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. Streeter will join the firm’s New York office in mid-February.
