Australian firm Freehills has hired an antitrust partner for its Melbourne office. Daniel Preston joins from the partnership of Blake Dawson, where he has practiced for over a decade.
Preston has advised clients including The Walt Disney Co. and Melbourne-based metal manufacturer BlueScope Steel Ltd. on various competition and consumer protection law matters. He has particular expertise in advising clients on merger clearances, regulatory compliance, and anti-monopoly issues.
