Akerman Senterfitt has gained a partner in RICHARD SHARPSTEIN, who comes to the firm from Jorden Burt. Sharpstein has spent more than 35 years working in civil and criminal litigation, in both federal and state court. He will practice in Akerman’s litigation group in Miami.
Former federal prosecutors LAWRENCE FINDER and RYAN MCCONNELL, who previously practiced at Haynes and Boone, have joined Baker & McKenzie as partners in Houston. They will concentrate on FCPA issues, internal investigations, and white-collar criminal matters as members of Baker’s global corporate compliance group.
