Jonathan Simpson, the former head of the European projects practice at Paul Hastings, left that firm last February to join the London office of Hunton & Williams.

A little more than a year later, Simpson is on the move again, but the circumstances surrounding his departure remain murky. British legal publication The Lawyer, which broke the news of Simpson’s departure from Hunton, reported Friday that the firm had terminated Simpson and escorted the former energy and infrastructure partner from the its London office.
