Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson has been busy with two very different real estate matters this week, battling lawyers for Occupy Wall Street protesters in New York state court on behalf of client Brookfield Office Properties, while advising another client on a deal involving AIG’s Manhattan headquarters.

Douglas Flaum, Fried, Frank’s vice-chair of global litigation, was in court Tuesday advising Toronto-based Brookfield when a Manhattan judge declined to extend a temporary restraining order that would have required city officials to allow protesters to continue camping out in Brookfield’s Zuccotti Park, according to sibling publication the New York Law Journal.
