King & Spalding lauded for its product liability work

Am Law chose four winners and 11 runner-up finalists in four categories, basing its decisions on extensive applications from firms reporting on their litigation in the two years ending July 31, 2011. King & Spalding was one of two finalists in the product liability section of the issue, with Shook, Hardy & Bacon taking the top honor in that section and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom taking the other finalist spot.

In the product liability field, some firms operate at a level of 30,000 feet and oversee the legal strategy for an entire litigation. Other firms put boots on the ground as they engage in courtroom combat in individual trials. King & Spalding prides itself on being able to do both.
