Squire Sanders has hired four new partners for its China and Hong Kong offices.  

Former Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton partner Jenny Liu is joining Squire Sanders in Beijing while former Sheppard Mullin special counsel Xudong Ni is heading to Shanghai. Squire Sanders’ new Hong Kong partners are Rosa Ng, a former Sidley Austin associate, and Kam Law, a former Jones Day associate.
 
Liu, who advises on international private equity and venture capital investments in China, joined Sheppard Mullin as a Shanghai-based special counsel in 2010 and was made partner last year. She relocated to Beijing to help launch Sheppard Mullin’s office there in August. Prior to joining Sheppard Mullin, Liu was counsel at DLA Piper in Beijing.
 
Ni, who specializes in aviation-related cross-border mergers and joint venture deals, joined Sheppard Mullin in 2006 after spending four years as a Washington, D.C.-based consultant with business strategy firm GCW Consulting. Prior to that, he was a partner at Beijing law firm Xin Ji Yuan Law Offices for over six years.
  
Ng is a capital markets lawyer who advises on Hong Kong listings while Law is an intellectual property lawyer qualified in both Hong Kong and Minnesota.
 
Squire Sanders has 124 lawyers working in Asia Pacific offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, and Perth. The firm opened its Singapore office in February with three partners recruited from Bryan Cave
