Minter Ellison has hired a new construction disputes specialist to its Hong Kong office. Henry Sherman, a former London-based CMS Cameron McKenna partner, is joining the Australian firm as senior consultant.

Sherman had spent more than 25 years at London-based CMS Cameron McKenna. He joined McKenna & Co. as an associate in 1983. In 1997, London law firm Cameron Markby Hewitt (which itself was result of a 1989 merger between Cameron Markby and Hewitt Woollacott & Chown) merged with local counterpart McKenna & Co, to form Cameron McKenna. The firm was later renamed CMS Cameron McKenna in 1999. Sherman later moved to Hong Kong where he spent four years as a partner from 1985 to 1987 and again in 1997 to 1998.
