Former attorney general of Pennsylvania JERRY PAPPERT has joined Cozen O’Connor’s commercial litigation group as a member.

Pappert was recently appointed chairman of the Pennsylvania Banking and Securities Commission, a position he will keep while assisting his new clients on government investigations, white-collar criminal matters, corporate compliance and general commercial litigation. From 2008 until the end of 2011, he was executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of global biopharmaceutical company Cephalon. There, he directed the company’s legal matters and oversaw its eventual sale to Teva Pharmaceutical Industries.
