Kansas City–based Dentons—the firm born of the combination of SNR Denton, Salans, and Fraser Milner Casgrain— has hired a team of six partners who specialize in white-collar and government investigations just weeks after its launch. The attorneys, formerly part of Husch Blackwell, are led by STEPHEN HILL, a former U.S. attorney for the Western District of Missouri. The team also includes STEVEN AARON, MAXWELL CARR-HOWARD, ANGELA HARSE, LISA KRIGSTEN, and PATRICK MCINERNEY, as well as an associate. As previously reported in The Am Law Daily, the attorneys considered several firms before settling on Dentons. All six are joining the firm’s U.S. white-collar and government investigations practice.

Duane Morris has added two former Lebensfeld Borker Sussman & Sharon partners to its trial practice. SUSAN METCALFE will be working out of the firm’s Philadelphia office on a wide range of matters including trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, while STEPHEN SUSSMAN will focus on business and franchise litigation in New York.
