Two prominent San Francisco antitrust attorneys, Joseph M. Alioto of Alioto Law Firm and Francis Scarpulla of Zelle Hofmann Voelbel & Mason, are bitterly feuding over their share of fees in a large class action settlement.
And the two men aren’t just colead counsel turned rivals they are also first cousins. (Scarpulla’s mother was the sister of Alioto’s father, former San Francisco Mayor Joseph L. Alioto.)
