Two prominent San Francisco antitrust attorneys, Joseph M. Alioto of Alioto Law Firm and Francis Scarpulla of Zelle Hofmann Voelbel & Mason, are bitterly feuding over their share of fees in a large class action settlement.

And the two men aren’t just co–lead counsel turned rivals — they are also first cousins. (Scarpulla’s mother was the sister of Alioto’s father, former San Francisco Mayor Joseph L. Alioto.)
