A little more than a year ago, the 10th floor of the Calyon Building in midtown Manhattan was filled with lawyers from a doomed firm; it was one of more than 10 floors occupied by the now-defunct Dewey & LeBoeuf. Now the 10th floor is again full of lawyers, this time from immigration specialist Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy.
As goes the 10th floor of the Calyon Building, so goes The Am Law 100. With Dewey exiting the list, Fragomen is moving onto The Am Law 100 for the first time, with gross revenue of $346.5 million, up 19.7 percent from 2011. It is one of four firms to move onto The Am Law 100 from the Second Hundred this year.
