Akerman Senterfitt is nearing the top of the Second Hundred after posting its second consecutive year of record gross revenue. The firm’s 2012 revenue of $285.5 million boosted it to number 108 on The Am Law 200; it was a 10.9 percent jump from 2011, when the firm reported a 9.1 percent increase in gross revenue from 2010.

The Miami firm’s 2012 revenue per lawyer rose 4.6 percent, to $570,000, and profits per partner increased 10.6 percent, to $575,000. Head count rose 6.6 percent, to 502, while the size of the equity partnership increased by one, to 180.
