On the heels of a relatively stagnant 2011, Denver’s Holland & Hart made dramatic gains in both gross revenue and profits per partner in 2012, thanks in part to a large contingency fee. Gross revenue climbed 22 percent, to $248.5 million, and profits per partner jumped 23 percent, to $555,000. Revenue per lawyer rose 17.5 percent, to $605,000.
That was a sharp turnaround from 2011, when the firm had a 2.5 percent increase in gross revenue, 1 percent gain in revenue per lawyer, and 3 percent dip in profits per partner.
