A Chinese court yesterday heard arguments in a Shanghai-based technology company’s suit claiming Apple Inc. is infringing its patent with its Siri iPhone and iPad digital assistant.
Shanghai-based Zhizhen Network Technology Co. alleges Siri is a copy of its own voice-activated assistant software called Xiao i Robot. The suit was filed mid last year but the hearing was delayed. Both companies appeared in court in March for pre-trial proceedings.
