Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A. Shroff & Co. has hired two new partners for its Delhi and Mumbai offices.
Sandip Beri is joining Amarchand in Delhi from Citibank India, where he was general counsel.
Qualified in India and the U.S., Beri joined Sidley Austin in Chicago as an associate in 1995, leaving five years later for an in-house role in New York with GE Capital. He returned to India in 2007 to become GE’s general counsel in the country, leaving in 2010 for the Citibank role.
