In the midst of a four-year fee dispute between Debevoise & Plimpton and its former client Candlewood Timber Group, Candlewood has filed a separate suit against the firm, alleging a Debevoise partner provided false testimony in depositions and court documents.
The timber company alleges that Daniel Abuhoff falsely testified about a potential conflict of interest and his trial experience during Debevoise's prosecution of the fee action against Candlewood.
