Clyde & Co has formed a joint law venture with Singapore firm Clasis.
The JLV, which will be called Clyde & Co Clasis Singapore, is expected to launch on August 1.
Clasis managing director Steven Lim joined Clyde & Co as an arbitration partner in October 2010 but left eight months later to launch Clasis. Before Clyde & Co, Lim was a partner with Singapore’s Rajah & Tann. He also previously worked at Jones Day in Singapore and Baker Botts in Hong Kong.
