Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton and Allen & Overy are acting on the $1.7 billion sale of ING Groep N.V.’s Korean life insurance business.

The Dutch financial group has agreed to sell a 90 percent stake in ING Life Korea to MBK Partners, Korea’s largest private equity fund. The deal is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close in the fourth quarter.
