Gary DeWaal, who served as general counsel at futures brokerage Newedge Group SA, is joining Katten Muchin’s New York office as special counsel.
DeWaal left Newedge to form his own firm, regulatory consultancy Gary DeWaal & Associates, last year. At Katten Muchin, he’ll be helping clients with financial services-related issues, including those dealing with exchange-traded derivatives, according to the firm’s press release.
