Arent Fox’s gross revenue increased for the fourth consecutive year in 2013, growing 8.7 percent to a firm record of $263.5 million. Profits per partner and revenue per lawyer rose as well: PPP grew 5.9 percent to $900,000, and RPL increased 6.7 percent to $800,000.

“This is three years in a row where we’ve set a record for revenue per lawyer and gross revenue,” says managing partner Matthew Clark. The positive performance happened with three fewer partners—162, compared with 165 in 2012—and a modest 2.2 percent increase to 330 lawyers firmwide.
