The Securities and Exchange Commission has named Cicely LaMothe as an associate director in the agency’s Division of Corporation Finance.
LaMothe, who joined the division in 2002, has been serving as acting assistant director of its Office of Real Estate and Commodities since November 2013, according to the SEC. She became the office’s senior assistant chief accountant in 2011, managing the accounting staff and leading reviews of public company financial statements and related disclosure. Before that, LaMothe served as an accounting branch chief and as a staff accountant in the Corporation Finance division’s disclosure operations program.
