GoPro Inc. raised $427 million in its initial public offering Wednesday, making the company’s debut the largest since that of battery maker Duracell International 23 years ago, the Wall Street Journal reported.
The San Mateo, Calif., maker of ruggedized cameras and video recorders priced its shares at $24, giving the company a valuation of $3 billion. The company will trade on the Nasdaq under the symbol GPRO. J.P. Morgan, Citigroup and Barclays are lead joint bookrunners for the offering.
