The Securities and Exchange Commission is carrying out investigations of several hacked companies to scrutinize how the corporations handled the breaches of data security, Bloomberg News reported.
The SEC is looking at how companies protected their data and whether they notified investors about the impact of breaches, Bloomberg News reported, citing two confidential sources.
