The Securities and Exchange Commission has named current managing executive for the Division of Trading and Markets James McNamara as its new deputy chief human capital officer in the Office of Human resources.

McNamara, who is due to take up the new position on July 14, will help to manage programs and policies related to leadership and employee development, recruitment and retention, performance management, compensation and benefits, and labor relations, according to the SEC.
