Thomas Krysa, regional trial counsel for the U.S Securities and Exchange Commission in Denver, will now serve as the SEC’s associate regional director for enforcement in its Denver office, the SEC announced on Monday.

Krysa has been employed in the SEC’s Denver office since 2003. After working as a staff attorney for one year, he became trial counsel, and then regional trial counsel in 2010. Krysa has litigated cases involving insider trading, financial fraud, offering fraud, broker-dealer and investment adviser misconduct, market timing, market manipulation, and auditor negligence, said the SEC in a press release.
