Plagued by investigations and hefty fines from regulators across the globe, British banking giant Barclays announced last Thursday that it has created a Compliance Career Academy designed to transform and professionalize compliance, Compliance Week reports.

The program will be delivered in partnership with the U.K.’s Cambridge Judge Business School and aims to train all 2,100 Barclays compliance staff in locations including Cambridge, Johannesburg, New York and Singapore on how to keep customers and clients at the heart of the decision-making process, The Wall Street Journal reports.
