Private equity firm Silver Lake has agreed to buy Quorum Business Solutions, marking its first investment in the growing U.S. oil and natural gas industry, the firm announced Monday.
Silver Lake will purchase Houston-based Quorum, a leading provider of software and services to oil and gas companies, from private equity firms the Carlyle Group and Riverstone Holdings for $310 million, The New York Times reports.
