The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority has fined Citigroup Global Markets Inc. $1.85 million after its securities unit failed to present customers with the best prices in roughly 22,000 trades over more than three years, the agency announced on Tuesday.

In addition, FINRA ordered the New York-based bank to pay its defrauded clients more than $638,000 in restitution plus interest.
