Canadian beverage giant Cott Corp. has agreed to pay $1.25 billion, including debt, for DSS Group Inc., the parent company of direct-to-consumer water and coffee services provider DS Services of America Inc.
The deal, announced Thursday, includes the issuance of preferred shares to New York-based private equity group Crestview Partners, the majority owner of DSS, as well as other shareholders.
