A former owner of a leading Krispy Kreme franchisee turned Big Law business litigator was recently lured from Steptoe & Johnson to Thompson Coburn by what he describes as an opportunity to serve his clients more efficiently. Of course, linking up his brother at the St. Louis-based firm also sweetened the deal.
Richard Reinis joined the business litigation department of Thompson Coburn on Nov. 24 after eight years at Steptoe & Johnson. His move reunites him with his older brother Mitchell, senior counsel in the firm’s business and IP group since 2013, who he practiced with from 1981 to 2000 at Reinis & Reinis, their boutique firm focused on apparel law.
