The end of two longtime Boston-based Am Law 100 firms has been a boon to Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo.
Two months after The Am Law Daily first reported on Mintz Levin’s interest in picking up an IP group from Edwards Wildman Palmer, the former recently completed its hire of 18 lawyers in Boston and Washington, D.C., from the latter, which next week will become Locke Lord Edwards following a merger. Mark Robinson, the former cochair of the white-collar investigations and enforcement group at now-defunct Bingham McCutchen, also joined Mintz Levin in the same role Monday.
