A year after merging with Miami’s Jorden Burt, Carlton Fields, now known as Carlton Fields Jorden Burt, has rocketed up the Am Law 200 rankings, rising to No. 136 from No. 156 a year ago.
Gary Sasso, president and CEO of the Tampa-based firm, says that financial results for the first full year of the merger were in line with expectations. Gross revenue jumped 26.4 percent, to $215.5 million from $170.5 million, while revenue per lawyer rose 1.6 percent, to $635,000 from $625,000, and profits per partner were flat at $830,000.
