DLA Piper has expanded its presence in Latin America by inking a cooperation agreement with Martinez Neira Abogados (MNA) in Bogota, Colombia.

Operating under the moniker DLA Piper Martinez Neira, the global legal giant’s new Colombia office follows the firm’s 2012 opening in Mexico City—where DLA Piper took on another 16 lawyers last fall from Gallestegui y Lozano—and outposts in São Paulo and Caracas, all of which also cropped up through collaborations with local firms in recent years.
