GRAEME SLOAN, a corporate and private equity partner at Latham & Watkins in London for nearly the past decade, has joined Morrison & Foerster.
At MoFo, Sloan will serve as co-chair of the firm’s global M&A group, a role he also held at Latham, where he joined the global legal giant in 2006 from leading Scottish firm Maclay Murray & Spens. Sloan took the lead for Latham in advising Georgia-Pacific, an Atlanta-based pulp and paper company owned by Koch Industries, on the $1.8 billion sale of its European tissue business to Sweden’s SCA.
