Winston & Strawn confirmed Thursday that the firm will close its five-lawyer Geneva office, moving the two arbitration partners based in the Swiss city to its other outposts in Europe.
Legal Business, a U.K. legal publication, broke the news Thursday of a vote by Winston & Strawn’s executive committee to close the office in order to focus on the firm’s arbitration work in London and Paris. Winston & Strawn confirmed the decision, effective Sept. 30, 2015, in a statement to The Am Law Daily.
