K&L Gates, a firm that has watched more than 90 partners depart during the first seven months of 2015, saw another handful leave within the past week.

Akerman expanded its operations in Chicago, where the firm set up shop last year, by bringing on K&L Gates labor and employment litigation partners JOHN “PETE” MORRISON and JOHN ROACHE. The two specialize in representing multistate and international employers in wage-and-hour class action litigation cases.
