Gross revenue at Am Law 100 firms was up by 4.1 percent, while firms in the Second Hundred saw revenue grow at a more modest 2.65 percent during the first half of 2015, according to a survey by Wells Fargo Private Bank’s legal specialty group.

The good news was paired with the more sobering report that demand is only up by 1.7 percent for The Am Law 100 and is flat among the Second Hundred, suggesting that the revenue growth is fueled by rate increases rather than new work.
